Empowering Women

We provide evidence driven care for women during the menopause and midlife transition with an additional focus on an anti-aging and preventative support. Our clinic offers women-centered personalized treatments and guidance to help you navigate this transformative phase with confidence and vitality.

Clinic Mission, Vision and Goals

At The Pause: Menopause and Midlife Care Clinic we know first hand how challenging it is to receive evidenced based, women's centered health care.  We also recognize the gaps that exist in our current health culture to address the complexities of midlife and menopausal care.  Our mission  is to listen to your story and work together to improve your health . Our goal as a women centered space is to help guide you through this season in life with a flexible treatment plan tailored to fit you.  Lastly our vision - our passion - is to educate and update you on the rapidly evolving science and evidence in this area of women's health.

The Process

01

After reviewing your intake form, you’ll have a 60 minute initial consultation. We’ll dive into your experiences, symptoms, and health history. You can ask questions and discuss your goals for this life stage. It’s about building a treatment partnership and ensuring you feel understood, not just gathering information.

03

A follow-up appointment 3 months after starting treatment will allow us to assess your initial response and make any necessary adjustments. We’ll also meet again at the 6-month mark where we often observe significant improvements and can further refine your treatment plan. A 30 minute follow-up can also be booked at any time you feel the need to review new symptoms or your current treatment plan.

After our initial consultation, we’ll have a 45 minute follow up to create your unique treatment plan. This isn’t one-size-fits-all—we might recommend hormone therapy, non-hormonal options, lifestyle changes, nutrition support, or a combination. We’ll explain all options, discussing benefits and potential risks, ensuring you are happy.

Once you are on your way to feeling improved, a yearly review is done. This is to ensure you are still feeling well, to review your goals, treatment plan, make any necessary changes and renew any prescriptions.
